The Enemy’s Daughter is a fast-paced romantic fantasy with complex characters. I was captivated by this story and it was so difficult to put this book down!
I only knew the basics of the tale of Tristan and Isolde going into this book, so I cannot compare the two of them. However, I loved Tristan and Isadora. I will say that I do not consider them to be enemies-to-lovers, but rather forbidden lovers. They held some distrust for one another, but they never actively tried to harm or kill one another. This did not ruin my enjoyment at all though! I loved the dystopian setting and how the clans and Kingsland saw survival and the way of life differently.
Overall, this was a beautiful and intriguing story. Thank you NetGalley and Quill Tree Books for the arc! All thoughts and opinions are my own.
