I love all of the books but something was just missing from this one. Felt both rushed and had slow story line. Not much true dialogue, lots of sighing, and Joey would just repeat the same thing Reed had just said, but always with a extra. example: she said “I get that a lot”, he replied with “I’m sure you do” and she would repeat “I really do”. A lot of her dialogue was just agreeing with him and repeating what he said. All the sighing was also too much. I really hated the character Jen. Lots of unfinished sentences I guess we should have automatically assumed the ending of? Was so excited for another book in the serious but sadly disappointed.
