Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert

5.0

He calls her Button!!!! 😭😭😭 That’s it. That’s the review.

In all seriousness, this book was phenomenal. Chloe has fibromyalgia and experience chronic pain. After almost being run down by a car, she realizes it’s time to take control of her life and do something more! She creates a to do list which includes going camping, moving out of the family home, going out and getting drunk, and doing something bad, which she quickly ticks off by peeping on her hot landlord through the windows. He was painting practically naked, of course she’s going to look, friends!! 👀🤣

Red Morgan is a current landlord and tortured artist. After a bad experience with a past relationship, he’s hesitant regarding Chloe and her snobbish ways. However, he realizes after getting to know her that she is not a snob and is actually a funny, intelligent, kind woman and he’s totally in love with her. 😭

Your honor, I loved them!!! Ugh! The tension, the banter, the steam, the spice! It was all so good! I didn’t even care about the third act break up because it made sense and was resolved fairly quickly! Go read this book if you haven’t already! And then come gush over Chloe and Red with me!! 🙌

🛑 Slight spoiler?! There’s this point in the book where Red leans in to Chlo and you expect him to kiss her and he bites her instead and guys!! When I tell you my soul left my body… I- ohhhh, it was so delicious. 🤤🔥🥵
