this book was essentially haunting adeline except if zade was a priest, not a hacker. it followed the exact same storyline except there was somehow a love triangle? the pacing was off, the characters had little to no motivation, and i was furthermore extremely disappointed in the use of a safe word that the mmc ignored. a lot of scenes like that felt irrelevant and unnecessary. this book could have been great because of how good the spice was, but unfortunately the rest of it did not follow through.
