As a concluding book in a series this came off as chaotic. Yes, many plot points from the previous books were wrapped up, but even more were left vague. Certain reveals (like the purpose of the whip) fell flat and didn't read as important events. The characters shouldn't be the ones explaining the significance of something, there should be a build up for the readers to get that without it being explicit.

The end was ok. I'm not a fan of leaving things purposely vague and hinting at future books. It was cool to get an idea of where the future would take the characters, but the concluding chapters felt so hasty.
