I can't say I didn't enjoy reading this but I'm not sure if it's something that's worth a re-read or a series I'll look to continue.
It felt at times as if this was a story I'd read before but not quite as good as the versions I'd read previously. A poor imitation that was filled with clichés.
Everything about the story felt superficial and I can't honestly say I was invested in or even slightly cared about any of the characters or what happened to them.
All in all it didn't quite manage to meet what I was expecting it to be but i did like the idea.
