The story is well-known, but this retelling offers a rather more nuanced story.
Our Snow White has got used to living alone, with minimal interaction from her aunt. She yearns for love and when her life is spared by the huntsman tasked with killing her, Snow White starts the journey that results in her saving her kingdom.
We follow Snow on her adventure and see a little of the love between her parents to explain her kindness. We also get the opportunity to see the story of her aunt Ingrid, the wicked witch. While it doesn’t excuse her behaviour, it certainly offers some understanding of her situation.
