This late entry in the anthology series has a fairly medium hit/miss ratio, and there's enough familiar names on the contents page from previous volumes to suggest that Joshi had got into an editorial rut, becoming over-reliant on the same limited set of authors and filling out Black Wings volumes almost by rote.
