Similar to the last book in the series, this was such a gripping, edge of your seat, can’t put it down type of mystery. I was truly left guessing and questioning everything throughout the whole book. As with the first book, the ending is something I would have never guessed in a million years, in the best way. The author incorporates such relatable struggles in a way that makes you truly understand the characters and their motivations. As a sequel, this definitely did not disappoint. I highly recommend this book, and I can’t wait for the third in the series.
Similar to the first book, the audiobook greatly enhances the experience of this book. I would recommend listening to the audiobook over the reading the book, or listening to the audiobook while reading. The dialogue combines with interviews and recordings to truly put the reader in the position of the investigator.

Age rating: 14+ (a little more gory/violent than book 1)
