I liked this book just as much on my second read but I admit I didn't remember (or didn't clock), how much homophobia, including internalized homophobia and mild biphobia, was involved. It was a bit bleak to be honest. Probably par for the course for how old it is tho (it was published first in 2000, not 2012 as it says on here jsyk)
