Fallen Heir by Erin Watt
These books are trashy YA crack(in a good way) . They're addicting and I love Easton so I was thrilled to see there was more on one of my favorite characters. I couldn't put this book down and these books are crazy filled with Royal drama. These Royals have completely ruined me.
The writing is great and shows the layers and complexity of the characters. This isn't the normal boy meets girl who doesn't like him and he catches her very soon after. This is complex with the crazy Royal drama we've come to love and we delve more into these people who aren't simple and have a lot hidden behind what they seem like at Astor Park. Each book pulls you deeper and deeper into the Royal world of crazy.

Holy shit what the actual fuck I am so mad at Erin Watt for trying to give me a heart attack again
First of all I loved Hartley and I appreciate her attitude and complex background that makes her a more humble person. As much as I love East he needs to get his shit together. I like the idea of him learning some lessons on how to be more humble and to control his lack of a filter. And I think how he's learning is realistic cause he still has a lot to learn after a lifetime of entitlement. And I loved learning more about Easton's character though and seeing the parts of him he tries to hide from. Steve was his role model and he looked up to him but Steve had darkness underneath all the good hearted fun he lived life through.
Also Steve is pissing me off and he needs to go to jail. And holy shit I never thought about East maybe being Steve's kid until Hartley's horrible father brought it up.
I knew Felicity was going to pull some shit where she would put drugs in Hartley's locker (what I guessed but it was cheating notes)or something but everything spiraled out of control so fast. There is no order I'm just writing what comes to mind. Felicity is scary and some more drama is gonna come from the next book. Is the next book the last? I feel like I want some novellas or just more information on some of the other characters.
Anyway but what I'm dying to rant about is the end.

So this happens in book two also where everything has gone to hell but Erin Watt is thinking no this isn't enough drama and torment let's add in this. Which was Steve.
And now after East messes up and Hartley is pissed as hell at her situation and Easton, she goes to drive and what happens? There's a goddamn car crash. And who's in the car who might be dead with blood all over them. Sebastian. And Sawyer is in the car unconscious or worse with blood down his face, and Lauren is screaming but she can't even tell which boyfriend is which. And I'm in emotional trauma. It's all so sudden and shitty that I drop my kindle and roll around in anguish because OF COUSE WATT HAD TO KILL OR INJURE SOMEONE LIKE WE WEREN'T ALREADY IN A HORRIBLE SITUATION. Can you please stop toying with my emotions I can't handle this. And even better I read ahead to see:
Don't worry! There's another book coming out in January 2018! Not that long right? (Evil laughing in the background as Erin Watt kills the fans that are ruined by the Royals)
So I'm reminded why I should never read books until they're all published ughhhhhh but it was Easton.
Great book but even more death of my soul thanks a lot I'm going to have a heart attack one day from reading scaring literature.
