One of the latest offerings from the school library - and I thought this one had a lot of good messages in it. It was, as most of the LGBTQ+ YA books in the library are, the story of a slightly mopey gay teenage boy - but this one did have older queer characters, and a plot that didn't revolve around coming out. It didn't shy away from tougher topics like abortion and loss either, and handled them in a very YA-appropriate manner.
