danh530 's review for:
The Age of AI and Our Human Future
by Daniel Huttenlocher, Henry Kissinger, Eric Schmidt
Took me until the end to realise that there was little to no actual substance to a lot of this book. The writing is palatable and gives the appearance of making good points, but really (much like GPT ironically) it sounds a lot more profound than the content actually is.
The chapters are arbitrary and some of the sub-sections are so generic I kept thinking I was re-reading portions.
WOuldn't recommend to any serious AI/ Computing enthusiasts, but think some of the points around policy and how we should approach this next age would be good to be read by politicians and less technical decision makers.
