Behave: The Biology of Humans at Our Best and Worst by Robert M. Sapolsky

5.0

This book is very dense and discusses neurology, endocrinology and the subsequent behavior that comes from the interactions between these things and the outside world. I liked that he was able to simplify certain concepts for the average person to understand, yet not reduce them to oversimplified abstractions that make it hard to have a conversation with the experts. Sapolsky is a well-respected scientist and excellent writer. This is one of the best science books I've read in a while. I started reading this book a few years ago but my tablet got hidden in some moving boxes. As soon as I found it again, I was excited to get back to reading this wonderful book. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in neuroscience and behavioral science and the science that ties between the two. Or anybody who has an interest in moral studies.
