This ended up being slightly more of a psychological horror novel than an actual horror novel, but it was still an interesting read. You have someone dealing with the aftermath of trauma using going to housesit for someone in a remote place where no one knows her as a way to try and reset for the summer, and she gets interested in someone along the way. Where the horror comes in is in her trauma giving her lots of flashbacks and hallucinations as she figures out how to move forward. Still a solid read!
