It's a cool little well-rounded story.
Hats off to Brandon, he really did create not one, but four generations of dangerous women in one short novella.
However, while the characters are cool and the story good, it's not quite as awesome as something like [b:Perfect State|25188109|Perfect State|Brandon Sanderson|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1426951197s/25188109.jpg|44897384] or [b:Sixth of the Dusk|22739503|Sixth of the Dusk|Brandon Sanderson|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1413841537s/22739503.jpg|42280064], despite the fact that its one of Brandon's own favorites. The world isn't as ridiculously original and there isn't the usual Brandon twist in the end. (There is a twist, it just isn't the specisl kind of Brandon twist)
Maybe he's just given me the bad habit of not accepting anything short of mind-numbingly brilliant from him, so much so that something merely great just won't do it anymore!
