It's not a bad book but I don't get why so much praise, like I know the story isn't for me because I usually don't like this type of books but I also don't think it's well written idk I think it lacks prose, and know I'm wondering in which grounds do books gain awards. It has descriptions that doesn't add to the book and I feel the characters lack depth.
It's my personal opinion and nothing else and even tho I didn't enjoy it much, i finished it fairly quickly.
