2.5

I’m a bit torn on this one. Overall, this was a fast, fun, and easy read. But I did have a few issues with it:

1. I guessed the big reveal very early on, which ruined the whole suspense of it all.
2. The characterization could have been done better. I immediately loved one of the characters the author wanted us to hate and hated one of the characters the author wanted us to love
3. There was some weird and unnecessary fat-shaming in here that I really hope they just take out of the final draft
4. The climax seemed…forced and sudden.

This is a fine thriller and overall fun, but there are better ones to pick up.
