Climate Optimism: Celebrating Systemic Change Around the World by Zahra Biabani

informative slow-paced

2.5

This reads like a textbook, & features the best & worst parts of one: lots of facts, numbers, & case studies but absolutely no personality or authorial voice. You get the feeling that anyone could have written this book, which is a shame because Zahra’s specific, unique voice is what the reader really wants to hear.

It’s almost like this is the published version of her undergrad thesis or something…? Hopefully we’ll get more/better writing from her in the future.
