Honestly, when I started reading, I thought this was going to be a three star read. This book started off pretty slow and the direction it was taking wasn’t clear. However, it ended up being pretty enjoyable, and like the title suggests, there were moments I laughed out loud.
Daphne and Miles were great characters, on their own as well as together. I enjoyed reading scenes of them just basking in each other’s company. I also liked the premise that I hadn’t seen much of, two individuals dealing with being jilted and finding comfort in one another.
