City of Dragons by Robin Hobb

3.0

more like 3.5 because I do like this author's world, writing and storytelling very much! But the majority of boys and men in here are.. so frustrating and give me anxiety. Also, I'm a little unsure about the enemy country, being shown as cruel, violent and kind of backward while also having clear middle eastern influences from the real world. But to be fair, there are plenty of cruel, violent and backward characters with power in the home country. IDK I do love this series still and am looking forward to seeing how it continues. Like the first book, it feels like it didn't end in an ending but rather the middle of the story, which does make me want the next book badly.
