I loved the whole enemies to lovers plot that was going on but the story itself wasn't a masterpiece. It takes place on two realms, one being the land of the free and the other some type of a prison realm that was too weird for me. Rory is the usual girl-boss criminal and her love interest is the broody king. It felt both rushed and unfinished but it kept me entertained so I give it that.
