I read this in two days. I couldn't put it down. I really enjoyed the characters and the political intrigue.
Minus half a star because one scene tested my suspension of disbelief to the limit. Why would captors leave a pair of prisoners alone whispering in the corner without even trying to figure out what they were saying?
I was able to accept it for the delicious character interactions that followed, but it was clumsily done.
