This is a book that I randomly found at a thrift store a few months ago and it sounded kinda cool. When I finally started reading it, I thought maybe it wasn’t a good choice but I wanted to give it a fair chance. I am soo glad that I kept reading!
The book is split up into parts, and once part two begins, things get very intense very quickly and I was loving every second of it. It’s full of scandal, betrayal, mental illness, and family drama. And a liiiittle bit of attempted murder.
There are multiple narrators which is something I always love, but I was most captivated with Solange’s story of a tragic marriage and all that encompasses that. Also, there’s a character named Janine, and I absolutely cannot stand her at all!!! I was hoping for some redeeming qualities and got zilch.
This is one that I haven’t seen anywhere so if you’re looking for something different, I’d recommend you give this one a try!
