This book kept me on the edge of my seat until the end! I had to put it down several times due to other responsibilities, and each time I kept thinking back to the story and wanting to know what happens next!
I appreciated that this wasn’t a story of learning to use one’s power, but dealing with the emotional baggage that comes with having abilities few people have and having tense relationships with family. The story does a great job of establishing the various characters and their motivations. The ending sets up the next book well and I can’t wait for the release of “Hearts That Cut.”
