I loved this book. I really really hope there will be a sequel. It was very fast paced and easy to read. After reading one too many horrors written by men, this book couldn't come sooner for me, it was so refreshing to have actually complex female characters in the horror genre.

The themes that present themselves in the beginning are quite triggering for me (pandemics, getting ill, germs etc.) but I'm glad I muscled through because it was so worth it. Though I wouldn't recommend for people who have similar triggers to do the same. It gets very graphic. Only do so if you think you can handle it.

I think some writers can overdo gore which I want to give credit to this book because it absolutely does not do that. In fact, I think it lended itself to a lot of plot twists which just made it a very exciting read. You definitely don't know what's going to happen even until the very end.
Im only docking half a star because the ending wasn't as satisfying as id hoped and certainly left room for a sequel which, if it doesn't happen, would make for a bad ending.

Overall, I would recommend this book to others and would read again.
