Behind the Net by Stephanie Archer
5.0
emotional funny hopeful inspiring reflective tense

Behind the Net was a delightfully spicy hockey romance. Jamie is a hockey goalie for Vancouver, Pippa is his new assistant as she’s trying to bide her time to be able to apply for the marketing job in the team when the current director retires. Well they both crushed on the other in high school thinking it was unrequited. Coming off a devastating breakup with her musical exboyfriend and leaving his tour in a rather embarrassing fashion, Pippa has sworn off love and relationships for the time being. The chemistry between Jamie and Pippa is undeniable and soon enough they act on all the spicy pining… without a third act breakup, this novel is the perfect spicy sweet sports romance that will leave you hot and bothered and totally in love with both protagonists. This was my first Stephanie Archer novel but it certainly won’t be my last.
