I thoroughly enjoyed most of this but then the pacing being so slow became a bore and annoyance. So I couldn't give it four stars.
I really liked the wholeJamal being the person who dunya feels the most like, that little reveal was very sweet and wholesome
I did enjoy this historic fantasy world and I do like Amina. I also appreciate the fact that the narrators could pronounce the Arabic works properly. Keen to read the next books in this world
