Someone in the Attic
by Andrea Mara
Juila has just moved her family to Dublin after a incident pertaining her daughter. As the family settles in, Juila's little boy, Luca, begins to hear noises throughout the night. She reassures her son that it is nothing, until a chilling tiktok video in their home emerges. As Juila's tries to get to the bottom of who is making the video, strange occurrences keep happening within the house.
Rating: ☆☆☆☆
This was a slow burn that was giving me goosebumps. It only took me about 3-4 das to finish entirely, I could not put this book down. The fact that someone could be lurking in my home, standing over my child's bed, makes the hair on the back on my neck stand up. I couldn't just dismiss someone coming out of my attic as photoshop. I highly recommend this book to all fellow thriller fans, you will not be disappointed.
Favorite Quotes: “I’m not afraid of being alone in the dark,” Luca whispers. “I’m afraid that I’m not alone.”
“People trust people with dogs. They do. There’s an inherent belief that dog people are good people.”
