This has been sitting on my shelf for years and I’m so glad I finally picked it up! (Physical TBR problems)
I love a book filled with riddles and puzzles and mystery, and this definitely delivers. It’s VERY reminiscent of Knives Out (film) and since that came out first it’s hard to say this didn’t take direct inspiration from that, but it is different enough that you probably won’t see the twists coming. My real gripe here is that the characters, with the exception of Avery, are all so flat and one dimensional. All of the brothers are the same person, I couldn’t keep them straight. Apparently there’s a love triangle? I didn’t even know those were two different brothers lol. I know there are more books so hopefully we get to know them a little better as we move forward.
