Did not finish book. Stopped at 55%.

The prose was very stark. Feels like it would have made a better screenplay than a novel. I had to re-read passages just to figure out what was happening, or where the characters were, or even who was talking sometimes. YMMV but I couldn't wrap my head around the prose.
