Spoke to my trauma in ways like no other book has. Could not finish because it caused me a massive dip in my mental health.

Excellent book, but visceral. If you have had intimate relationships or encounters with the depth of white supremist systems, law enforcement, or incarceration, I warn that this book is extremely traumatizing to relive. For some it may heal, but that's not the effect it had on me.
