Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling

Re-read 10/19/18

I’m making my way across the audio books and again, Jim Dale is phenomenal narrator.

There are so many things that I forgot and every time I re-read any HP books I’m like “oh yeahh this happens!”

So many things happen!! It’s definitely taken us into the dark world now. We get introduced to the members of The Order, which is so much fun. I love seeing the adults. We also get introduced to the worst character ever. You know who I’m talking about. Umbridge. I never knew I could hate someone so very much. She is the worst person ever!! I hate her with a passion. She makes Voldemort look good, so that’s saying something.

We also see that Harry is growing up and becoming an adult. The way he conducted the DA meetings and taught everyone was very responsible. I loved that part. Yes, he definitely has a temper and can’t seem to follow rules at all but that’s a part of growing up. The only thing that bothered me about him was how he kept ignoring to learn Occlumency. The whole end fiasco would have never happened if he had listened to Dumbledore and learned it in the first place. So yeah, I was mad at him for that.

Oh, and Luna Lovegood is new in this book. I love her so much!! She is one of the best characters.

Anyways, I always love every single re-read of this series. There is nothing else in the world that brings me more joy. I absolutely adore this universe.

That was a beast of a book! Longest book I've ever read and it was amazing!
