this book is disgusting and made me feel gross in a not fun way but I liked it. I really enjoyed the writing style and the doctor analysis of the gore, I thought that was interesting and a new style for me.

something that was frustrating but in a good way was seeing how the different girls at the school reacted to the trauma, Charlotte especially was getting on my nerves but her way of thinking is something that happens a lot so I thought it was interesting to see.

one thing I did have a very slight issue with was the romance because it felt a little rushed to me, like I understand the connection they have but I feel like we could have seen them interact just a little bit more and see the romantic feelings grow a bit slower but im also being really nitpick

overall I enjoyed the book but I didn't feel good while reading it since it was just bad things happening all the time, so definitely look at content warnings before you read
