I wanted to like this, from the summary (man in his sixties who has shut himself away and avoided making friends decides he needs to learn how to live for more than just work and go find his first and only love whom he lost decades ago) it sounded like an LGTBQ version of "a man called Ove." However the characters were all a bit too Disney for my liking and it didn't have the depth that I was expecting.
