At first, I was confused that the story would completely end at 34 chapters. That seemed so short, especially compared to modern, 3 season manhwa. And then I got really worried the story would continue with Chung Leehyun in captivity . A relationship blooming there, especially while he didn't seem to want it? I hated how pushy and authoritarian Francis Han was being in the beginning. But thankfully there was a removal from that situation, and the relationship only bloomed outside of it. Characters whose motivations were ambiguous became clear with time. Truly, they took care of as much as they needed to in the allotted space and I was satisfied. Francis Han experienced character growth. There's a hopeful end for a particular side character. In the end, we come to the realization that everyone was only acting out of love. It took me a moment to understand, but I even think the implication of the butterflies in the end was that Lee Arang knocked out all the pursuers so Leehyun could escape. In the end, he cared for his little brother figure and understood Doh Munsoo's stance on him, redeeming himself. I hope they escape together.
