Melody isn’t some soft, shy thing—she’s got teeth, strength, and she’s a werewolf with a missing wolf and a past full of holes she’s still trying to piece together—setting you up to root for her and Smith as they unravel the mystery together. She matches Smith’s energy beat for beat, leaning into every dark need he’s got. Chasing, spanking, primal play—you name it, and their chemistry hits all the right unhinged notes. The woods, the chase, enthusiastic consent everywhere... I ate it up.
What really got me was how the Rosemont crew welcomed Melody like she’d always been part of their weird little family. Sebastian, Dahlia, and the gang just folded her right in, making that haunted manor feel like home again. Plus, we dive deeper into the twisted history of the original Rosemont household—Smith’s past is tightly tangled up in it all—which totally ties into the story’s shocking surprises and deeply haunting revelations.
