While this was definitely on the biased side, I found it very readable. It didn't stray too often away from Athenais, only a few times at most. The bias towards Athenais can be frustrating at times as it can be hard to get a true sense of others such as La Valierre and La Maintenon as the author can be seen to vilify them most of them time.
