My first Lisa Edmonds book. I’ll be honest, I mainly applied for this ARC because my good friend Lindsey did the cover art work but I do really enjoy monster romance/alien romance. 

I mostly enjoyed this, but the pacing was a bit weird? This is relatively short, just shy of 300 pages and I feel it could’ve benefited from being a bit longer.

The bulk of the book was Calla healing and Vos caring for her while they get to know each other, with the adversary mentioned in the blurb not coming in to the story until 87%??? Idk, it felt very sudden and rushed.
