With literary classics such as this part of the reason one might read them is to have a better understanding of the cultural impact of them, however looking at it for purely it's entertainment value I found it a little lacking. It's pretty fun, but even with them removing serveral of the less important chapters for this translation it got to a point where they started to blend together a bit.
Also some weird things about this translation; the bit where it has a whole lengthy bit about the cultural impact of the story really should have gone at the end. It makes NO sense if you don't already know the story. Additionally there are a few anachronistic references here and there (the one i remember off the top of my head is one "to be or not to be" reference). they don't really bring the story down much but they were so odd I had to bring them up.
