Listen! Millie Perez! Knows! How! To! Write! A! Book! I loved this book SO MUCH. I have the same feeling as I did when I read You Never Forget Your First - being in absolute AWE of the magic that Mille created. I loved being back in the world she created!! All the connections?! And cameos?! Also I went back to my arc copy of You Never Forget Your Worst and I DID clock the potential between Mateo and Isabella!! So I am feeling very proud of myself. This was such a fun introduction to this new series!! The ENDING! I’m already so very excited for the next book! And the tiniest little sneakiest peak at the very very end!?

This was fast paced and so much fun! I loved how DOWN BAD both Mateo and Isabella were!! The actual romance took a second to develop! Because they were fighting their feelings and their pasts. But the flirting! And the fun! And the LONGING! I loved them SO MUCH. I loved the little family they so seamlessly created! And honestly Anna was the star of the show. I loved how easily her and Isabella connected. And I LOVED seeing Mateo watch the two of them together and fall even harder for Isa because of it.

I also loved watching Mateo be able to finally connect with his Puerto Rican roots in such a meaningful way for him and his family. And I loved watching Isa grow and change and take back her life. She could have done it on her own, she was slowly but surely working towards it, but with the support of Mateo and her new friends, it was that much easier to take that step. They needed each other in more ways than one and it was beautiful for them to figure it out together!

Thank you SO MUCH to Mille Perez for the ARC in exchange for an honest review! I am SO GRATEFUL!
