Strawberry Shortcake Murder
by Joanne Fluke
When a judge at the local bake-off is found dead Hannah snoops around time help her friends who appears to be the prime suspect in the murder.
I found the second book in the series to be more about Hannah and Andrea’s growing sisterly relationship, which I enjoyed. The book had so many characters and twists I honestly had no suspicions over who had done it until quite near the end.
One of my favourite quotes from the book was a conversation between Hannah and her mother. “Hannah! You’ve simply got to stop doing things like this.”
“It’s not like a scavenger hunt, mother! I don’t go around looking for Murder victims on purpose.”
I know this series has been around for some time - it’s nice to find a “new to me” series I enjoy.
