Playboy Playmaker by Maren Moore

4.0

Hudson Rome. What can I say? He was the star goalie for the Avalanches and known as the Playboy Playmaker. He didn't want to be known as the Playboy Playmaker, so he didn't want any random hookups anymore. Of course, when he ran into Caroline at a party, she had no idea who he was, and they did hook up. That night changed everything because he could not get her out of his mind.

I loved seeing Hudson's attempts to change the way the media perceived him. When he found out Caroline was his coach's daughter, he tried to stay away from her despite not being able to stop thinknig of her. When he gave in to his feelings, I could see how much he truly cared for her. He was such a sweetheart with her and stepped in to take care of her, not caring about how it would look for him. Also, all his moments with Wren were just so cute. Let's not forget that mouth -- he is such a dirty talker!

Caroline was a great character as well. She was young, but she knew what she wanted and did not let anything stop her from going after what she wanted. She was also very confident and caring.

I loved the seeing the connection between Hudson and Caroline grow; their chemistry was undeniable and their banter was great! I also liked when Hudson's teammates gave him sh*t and joked around a lot, but I could tell that when it came down to it, they would be there for each other.

I wish this wasn't the last book in the series, but it was a great ending.
