Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

Very sticky to get through, second book syndrome or whatever it’s called but the last 15 chapters or so redeemed the entire thing and James Islington does many things very well. I feel like I understand enough of the world to be very invested, at the same time he keeps a lot of room for speculation and he’s starting to tie some strings together which made for a very satisfying read all over. He’s also good at holding your hand perfectly enough through the story but also leaving you confused in a good way. Worth the time.
