"You are my match in every way. Anything that's mine belong to you. Never forget that."

It was everything, an adventure, a journey.

Now that I have finished reading the books, I feel this emptiness in me. I always get this feeling when I read a remarkable story. This time, it feels more intense than what I've experienced before. I have never felt the hollowness to this extent, and for me, that says a lot about how I immensely loved the series.

It was everything I wanted and needed, and I never even realized what I craved until I read the trilogy. Wrath and Emilia, they were marvelous. Their story together was challenging, but it was magnificent.

In Kingdom of the Wicked, we see Emilia as a sweet, familial, and loving witch. She enjoys cooking and is great at it, which I believe is an endearing trait. I loved how she went straight to solving the death of her sister. Eventually, her investigation led her to Wrath. The enigmatic demon and vengeful witch were obviously mad at each other the first time they met. Little did they know, it was the beginning of the middle. Over time, they softened toward each other. I liked that they teamed up; it really made them learn some things about each other. The mighty Prince Envy also made a dazzling appearance in this book, which I did enjoy. The ending is a nice finish for a first book; it leaves you wondering what happens next.

Going on to the next book, Kingdom of the Cursed, the steam was oh so amazing. Just at the start, there was that and it left me wanting more. When Emilia started living in House Wrath, I knew there was already something amiss she didn't know. The training, the party, the steam, everything was wow. I think this book is where they really became closer and where their feelings grew more. The little revelations left me pondering and creating theories about what might've happened and who they might've been. It was fantastic how it made my heart happy with the little moments. With the ending of book two, I never wanted to read the next book as much as this. So, I did, going straight to reading the book even though I hadn't even written my review on Kingdom of the Cursed.

With Kingdom of the Feared, the massive revelations kept on coming so fast, I needed time to breathe and gather my thoughts. We see Emilia and Wrath closer than before. We also see them work together as a couple with respect for each other. And if I had said book two had volatile steam, that cannot even be compared to this book. The spice was ineffable; it was so amazing. The ending was the best; I love how everything tied together at the end. Add the coronation, wedding, and vows. Even the scenes where Emilia sacrificed her power and Wrath shared his with Emilia, they deserve each other. Kingdom of the Feared is a spectacular conclusion to an indescribable series.

Maybe this sounds like I'm just rambling, but I have a good reason for that. The feelings I have for this series are incomparable. It feels like finding a family. And now that I've finished it (I know that there's a spin-off but oh well, it won't be focused on them anymore), I will miss Emilia and Wrath very much.

Emilia's growth and perseverance were admirable. My favorite trait of hers would be her will; she'll go to any lengths to achieve what she knows is needed. Her sacrifice and her heart add to the beauty that is Emilia.

Wrath is a keeper; in everything he did, he made sure Emilia had a choice and wasn't coerced into something. The way he treats her is something real-life people should take note of. Even being the leader and general he is, he never faltered despite being damaged. Samael really is an awe-inspiring one.

Wrath and Emilia's full relationship is something I never expected. I didn't even anticipate their past. I loved how back then, it was only planned for vengeance but it ended up being more. I wish we could've read more of their past. Nonetheless, their present relationship is stronger and deeper; it was proven by how they were able to break the curse. After everything, I just wish them all the happiness. I can't wait to read their cameos in the spin-off series.

I love how every brother will have their own books. With Envy having the next book, this intrigues me. What will happen and who will it be with? I guess I'll know very soon. Gluttony is next to Envy, with obviously the columnist he bantered with a lot, so that thrills me. Pride must be next– I really, really wish. I want his story to still be with Claudia fixing their marriage and having a second chance. I know there are people who pair him with Vittoria because they're the same, but we should take note that magnets repel similar sides. Just because they're the same doesn't mean it is right. The same with Claudia, just because they're opposites doesn't mean they should give up easily. Magnets attract opposite sides. Additionally, Pride and Claudia were already the catalyst of a big event; they can't give up that easily.

All in all, if I were to give a song for the Kingdom of the Wicked series, it would be "Daylight" by Taylor Swift. An ode to Emilia and Wrath.
