Evil Has a Name: the Untold Story of the Golden State Killer Investigation
by Paul Holes, Peter McDonnell, Jim Clemente
A sleek and well produced Podcast-style account of the decades long investigation into the GSK case. It was very moving to hear some victims speak of detective Carol Daly's work to support them through their traumatic experiences. Of particular interest to me were the latter episodes explaining how genetic genealogy in crime investigation work, and recounting the work of those genealogists who assisted Paul Holes' team in 2018, providing the break this case needed. A great supplementary work to the excellent I'll Be Gone in the Dark by Michelle McNamara.
