I tried to reread this, but I got to the scene where Claire asks Jamie if he thinks Lord John took Willie in bc he looks like Jaime. She so clearly conflates gay men with predators. Idk how I didn’t notice that the first time through. It’s super gross and unnecessary. DNF.
