As someone who is afraid of everything, I didn’t know if I’d be able to read this. 😂
The stories weren’t as scary as I thought they’d be but definitely creepy and slightly gory. The illustrations were simple but nicely portrayed the stories, and the color palette was very cohesive and aesthetically pleasing even for a horror book.
I liked how each ending had a twist and left you in a sort of cliffhanger, wanting to know what the hell just happened!
This is not my typical sort of read but I would still recommend it if you are in the mood for an atmospheric scary read that it’s not extremely scary but will still gives you the creeps, lol.
