I have been saying since I first read it that Too Like the Lightning, the first book in the Terra Ignota series, is the best book I've read in at least the last 5 years, despite some stiff competition. Now that I've finished The Will to Battle, that competition has become even stiffer. I suspect that once the series is complete, I'll count the whole thing as my favorite. All that to say, this book is fantastic and amazing. It's even more politically and theologically complicated than the first 2, plus we get to see more details, more tech, more of everything in this beautiful, flawed world. It was also a harder read, emotionally, than the first 2 books, but I trust Ada Palmer to bring us all through.
