I’ve gone back and forth about my feelings towards this book. I’m leaning more towards the negative side though. Some parts were super uncomfy to read. The main character Lucy is somehow a mix between lovable and selfish. I appreciated the beauty in her past love story, but also didn’t understand why she wouldn’t just cut off contact with Gabe. It felt like she was just having an emotional affair the whole time. I still liked her though for her way with words and perspectives? I also didn’t like the ending of the book. I wish it would’ve been a little more. I couldn’t put the book down, but was also kind of glad it was done.
